Oh my gosh. You beat me by two ounces! See my post above, Gracie was eleven pounds even and Rosie was twelve pounds, eight ounces. Combined weight for two kids was 23 pounds, 8 ounces.

Mine were csections.

12-8? Holy Guacamole! And I don't get to be impressed by birthweights, lol. How long was she? Both my kids were 22.5.

#1 was an unnecessary c/s, but #2 was an awesome UC. When people find out I had her vaginally, they inevitably say "Oh you poor thing" or some other such crap - and 'i feel like I have to defend natural childbirth and tell them it didn't hurt (I mean aside from usual labor stuff, yk) and I didn't tear. Not that it's any of their business, but I fought really hard for my VBAC and I don't like to have it tainted by people feeling sorry for me.

Anyway, aren't big babies nice?

Two births (so far) for a total of 13lb 9oz...

#1 6lb 2oz @ 38w1d
#2 7lb 7oz @ 39w6d

7lb babies are the norm in my family. My MIL had five 6lb babies and one 7lb baby... my mom didn't grow an 8lber until her third baby... he was 8lb 13oz at 43 weeks.

DD was 7 lbs 6 oz at 36 weeks. Very curious how much DS will be - over 40 weeks already. I'm guessing a 9 lb baby.

Fun thread! Let's see...

9 lb. 2 oz. + 8 lb. 7 oz. + 8 lb. 6 oz. = 25 lb. 11 oz.
