I run a group for women recovering from birth trauma. The link is in my sig. With a friend's husband I've now set up a group for men too.
I hope we can help you out too
Birth Support - Accessing Artemis - the men's room.
This group is run by dads for dads. We support men through the aftermath of traumatic birth and also in planning for subsequent births in a postive and empowered way. We aim to be supportive, strong and educated partners in the birthing process. We support home birth as an alternative to hospital birth which has often disempowered us and our partners. Many of us parent in ways which can loosely be called gentle, natural or attached, choosing gentle discipline, cosleeping and baby wearing.
Our sister site is Accessing Artemis, a place for women to heal from trauma after childbirth. We encourage partners to join the group suited to them, and have found that dividing our groups this way facilitates more comfortable discussion and sharing.http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/birth_support/
