Has anyone used these and are they safe?

I am 36, expecting my 2nd child....10 years after my first!! My first birth experience was in a military hospital and I wont say anything else, for fear of scaring you to death!

THIS TIME I have a wonderful, super supportive husband, a midwife and I feel more prepared. But I had 2 days of labor with my first....and 14 of those hours were spent on my back in the hospital....so in order not to have a repeat of that...or anything REMOTELY like it, Im trying to explore all my options.

Thanks!

Tonya

I'm trying to make the same decision (whether to take Polly Jeans or not). Here's something I just found which makes me more inclined not to take them.

I had a long labor with my first, too. But my midwife doesn't think that means anything for my second. If you were in a hospital and on your back, no wonder you had a long labor! Also, your body knows better what to do now.
