My first son was a midwife assisted water homebirth 2.5 hours from start (when my water broke- contractions started immediately) to beautiful finish.

My second son was another planned water birth but again my water broke at a friends house (during the Superbowl) so by the time we made it home we didn't have time to fill the tub. Our Midwife made with about 15 minutes to spare- total time 1 hour. Yikes! so intense...

My third son was ironically my longest labor however my midwife rushed in the door about 5-10 minutes after the birth. I woke up with contractions about 7:00 am but I was 3 weeks early so I dismissed them all day. Denial to the extreme. I finally realized I was having him about 11:00pm when my water broke, he was born into the water at 11:40pm.

I was blessed with 3 magical births each in their own way.

Birth Blessings,
Traci
