My first was stillborn at home after a long but normal labor with 2 midwives in attendance. My second was born on route to my midwife's home unassisted in a public bathroom. There should be ways to vote for every birth and should be a category for other . I voted as a homebirth with a midwife but would vote again for unassisted at other location to represent my second birth. Hopefully my next baby will be born at home with a midwife.

I didn't vote, because all 3 of mine were different and you don't have options for two of mine.

1= hospital with midwife - drug free
2= hospital with family doctor - intervention free
3= planned homebirth with family practice doctor, ended up with unplanned UC

I voted in a birth center because that was my most recent(with a m/w). My first was in a hospital with an OB.

Well, the first time, I had an OB and a c-section.

The second time, I had my prenatal care done by a midwife, but had an emergency c-section by an OB.

So I voted OB

I was planning a UC, but DS was breech and when my water broke, I let myself be bullied into a C-section at 37 weeks 1 day. Future babies will be UC/UP, Goddess willing.

Hey, why is there no option for hospital with family doctor? It seems like they're somewhere between OBs and midwives. There are still some FPs who deliver babies, even though some people don't know it!
