I posted the question about the Vit. K injection about a week ago and after doing the research, dh and I have decided not to do the Vit. K this time unless it's a traumatic birth. There's no need, we aren't circ'ing and I won't be taking antibiotics during labor.

I do keep hearing about other moms taking liquid chlorophyll a couple of weeks prior to their due date to increase Vit. K in their breastmilk (and whatever will make it to baby in that time frame). Thought I'd buy some today.

How much should I take? The bottle says 1-2 tablespoons a day. I always get a little nervous about taking and extra "something" while preganant. Any advice? Also, do you take it plain or in something? Is the taste horrible? I didn't get the "mint" kind, just regular.

Thanks!
