Has anyone read Our Bodies, Ourselves: Pregnancy and Birth? It's fairly new. I just picked this up in the library, and I think it's a really decent pg manual. I haven't read all of it, yet. There are a few areas I wish they were a bit more thorough on, like going postdates and GD which seem like the pretty standard medical info. But, overall it talks about creating a "climate of comfort" rather than a "climate of fear" around birth, and calls out interventionist practices as detrimental.
Anyone else read this? What do you think?
