I can find plenty of places to hire pools from - but not exactly what I want. I have had quite severe pelvic problems in my previous pregnancies and one of the things that has helped has been getting in water, so I'd like to hire a pool from around 32 weeks. This means we need to get a pool with a heater (not a problem) and a lockable lid, which is a problem.

I'm not entirely averse to buying something, as renting for those extra weeks will make that more worth it, but as yet I'm not finding something that has the lid, but doesn't have a water filtration system, I understand that this considered a breeding ground for bacteria and not a good idea for birthing in.

Another thought just occurred, can you turn a filtration system off, then somehow block it off or disconnect it? If that was the case I could use it like a spa, then towards the end convert to birth pool mode, which might mean some hardwork refilling every couple of days, but would probably be worth it.

Any ideas?
