I miscarried at 5w 4d last Sat. I know its very early, probably too early to have form an attachment but I'm just so sad,... I don't know why this happened. A part of me tells me that there is nothing I could have done but still I keep thinking about the past 5 weeks. I was so focused on this pregnancy - right from the start. This was a planned pregnancy unlike DS who was a nice surprise. I was doing everything right, taking my prenatal vitamins, forcing myself to walk everyday even though my life is so rushed all the life....I just wanted this baby so much, I could visualize what she would look like and what she would feel like when I held her. Sorry for rambling, I just feel like I need to get this out

I'm sorry for your loss. There was nothing you could have done... and it still really hurts. You'll find a lot of people here who understand how it feels--this group has helped me a lot. wishing you peace...

{{HUGS}} to you. I had an early loss in 2007, I was around 9w when I had the D&C done, after almost 3w of spotting/bleeding prior to that. We weren't TTC that baby (not TTA either though), and once the surprise wore off, I had already begun the bonding process w/ my baby, so I totally understand. I wish you peace during this difficult time. Many P&PT coming your way.

I had a six week loss in August, and it was most likely a blighted ovum. But you know, a loss is a loss. It is normal to grieve. I have actually gone to an early loss support group put on by my local hospice for the past two months. We also planted a bush to honor the lost pregnancy. I also bought a bracelet to remember it by from labelledame.com. We also went to the local remembrace night for national pregnancy and birth loss day this past week.

Do what you need to do to grieve. I am sorry for your loss.

Somehow, it's comforting to read this. I too started my miscarriage within the last week, mostly on Sunday.
It hurts so much and I go back and forth between being rational and totally emotional and tears and anger.
I'm thinking about you. I hope this gets easier or less painful. I wish I could fast forward time.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a loss at 5w2d and it is very real and very painful. Don't worry that it was "early" and feel that it wasn't.

I'm so sorry for your loss, mama, and for roygbiv's too. i'm still reeling from an early loss (6w3d) 4 weeks ago and i feel your pain. even though ours was not at all planned, i had gotten over the shock fairly quickly and was heartbroken to lose this baby. even more so since that will have been my last pg. writing my story so many times here has been helpful for me, and i hope it will be for you all too. lots of prayers for both of you and hopes that you have good support during this time. keep writing as much as you need to and take care of yourself - and let others take care of you, too.

So sorry for your loss. I also had an early miscarriage in 2006, I still think about it often. There is nothing you could have done.
