I just ordered some prefolds and they are 4x6x4. Before I had infant ones that were 4x8x4. Is there much of a difference? I wasn't sure if I should exchange them for thicker ones or not.

I usually just trifolded them and stuck them in a diaper cover.

Well, the 4x8x4 are better for nighttime but not as trim for daytime....but they'll work great too!

It depends on how heavy a wetter we are talking about.

Thank you for the help. My DS is a pretty heavy wetter, but I use pockets at nighttime, so I'll try them out for the day. I mainly stay home, so it should hopefully be ok!
