Has anyone every seen these?? I found some flour sack towels at wal-mart last night for $1 a piece. I'm wondering how these might work as flat diapers (for a newborn). I'd think they'd be durable. Anyone know anything about this fabric and how durable or absorbent it is?? Size is the same as other flats I've seen!

double check fabric content, but if I'm thinking correctly, these would be awsome for diapers.

Ahhh tea the essence of life.

I know what you are talking about. They are 100% cotton, but VERY VERY thin. i really don't know much about flat folds, but I think these are a bit rough for diapers. I guess it would be worth a shot though. HTH

I had some I used as actual towels, and they get hard after a while.

They are 100% cotton, tag says made in china.

The feel pretty soft. They are pretty thin but thicker than Gerber prefolds.

They seem like they'd work ok??

When folded in fourths, is it about the size of a prefold? If so, we use those all the time for "emergency diapers". I have a stack in my sewing studio for cleaning & emergencies. They make good pocket stuffers, too. They are a bit rough, but for an older kid, they're just fine.
