Hi Mamas,

It's been a long time since I've posted and even longer since I've had a babe in diapers. I have a new little blessing coming in about 2 weeks and started her newborn diaper collection. I have bought a few bamboo diapers and am very excited and curious about them. Is there any special washing instructions for them? I would love some extra info on them and why they're so popular. Thank you so much in advance and I can't wait to have a baby in cloth again!!!!!

Thanks Mamas and wishing you all a happy and healthy 2010.

We just ordered some bamboo to try them out, so I don't have any info to offer you (sorry!). But if you need/want to order any more, cottonbabies is having a great sale on their bg bamboo fitteds (around $7/each if you order 6 or more).
Congratulations on your new blessing!

DD has a bunch of bamboo diapers & I don't wash them any different than her other diapers.

You do have to wash them multiple times before they are ready to use. Then they are soft, and very absorbent. Plus bamboo takes a LOT less pesticide to grow that cotton does.
