I did a search and wasn't able to find anything here, so I'm sorry if this has been discussed anytime in the recent past.

I have been collecting wool sweaters from our local second hand store when I've come across them and have about a dozen I'd love to make newborn longies or soakers with to wear over snappi'ed prefolds.

I have found a few different patterns but have no idea what to look for in a good pattern. What is your favorite?

I have a halfway decent sewing machine though I'm a sewing novice so any help regarding making upcycled wool longies/shorties would be appreciated!
