We're moving into a new house next month, and the current owners are leaving behind their relatively new HE washer & dryer. We'll be bringing along our regular ol' top-loading washer and regular dryer as well. I'm planning to stick the HE washer in the shed and use the top-loaded while our new arrival is in CDs, but I'm wondering what to do about the HE dryer. Any thoughts or BTDT perspectives? Would it be fine (or optimal) to use the HE dryer, or should I plan on switching it out for the regular dryer for our CD years? We use mostly prefolds, in case that matters.
