My ds is potty trained for the daytime but I'm still putting diapers on him at night as he's dry only about 50% of the time. I'm used to washing a pail full of diapers every 4 days or so and now may only have 2-4 diapers after 4 days. What works for others in this situation - how long do you find you can go without washing your diapers or do you just do a very small load every few days? We use pocket diapers with hemp inserts.
married to DH, mother to two amazing little boys born May 18/2010 and May 20/2013!
Infertility has been part of this journey - no more littles for us, but so grateful we have two happy healthy boys and we can now begin to heal from that experience
That's what we did. We would wait for several days and wash. We can set the water level in our washer to low, so that helped with doing small loads.
Adina mama to B 4/06 and E 8/13/12 (on her due date!)
Not much helpful, but when mine were at that stage I either did diaperless or went with disposables. I know not the answer you were looking for, but I didn't want to ruin my diapers by washing them with all the other stuff, and I didn't want to ruin them by washing them only once a week.
Three big girls (10) + (almost 9!);
One little boy (6) and a full on toddler (8/12) born with TAPVR (repaired at 6 days old).
