sure, to each his own, but my babies have to live in the world this cripe contaminates. gag.
It seems to me that they would leak everywhere. Calling them cloth diapers seems silly too. The majority of the diaper is plastic. ??? Maybe 'reusable plastic diaper' would be more suitable.
And what up with this:
|What is even better is because I can use a much thinner diaper, and because the Snibbs are thin and breathable, my son has NO DIAPER RASH!! Air can get to his little bottom, leaving him much drier.
How is plastic more breathable than wool? Hmmm....
They look like the "diapers" my folks used to make for this girl (now all grown up) we used to watch when I was in middle school. Her mom never brought enough disposible diapers and my dad would make diapers with plastic bread sacks, old dishtowels and masking tape.

i totally get your point and agree with you, but if you give it much thought, many diapers that are well loved here on the board are 100% plastic, or nearly so. Like these things on ebay, you just stuff something absorbent into them (and sometimes that 'absorbent' thing is plastic as well? at least the ones i am thinking of arent PVC (gag vomit choke) ...
