I was saying that the brown covers wouldn't tempt me... but then she posted them, and they do. I wish I hadn't used my reservation on the winter frost now!

...speaking of reservations...I sensed a "tone" in her email that makes me think she really doesn't want to honor them. It was something along the lines (I'm just paraphrasing) of "if you really want to order it you can but I'm not going to be making them for 2 months and you know that's optimistic. Oh, but you can use it as a $5 coupon."

Yup... but she's been saying that for a while now. It's a tough call if you have a res... waiting that long is so painful!!!

I've never been so swept over by a garden before (and apparently I'm not the only one) -- I've never even considered bidding before. Must take a deep breath and resist. I could always make them myself, right? :LOL

I suspect that's because she's going on vacation, huh?

This garden isn't very big, is it? Only two covers. I wonder if it's really worth it for her to figure it all out just for two covers! I guess it is, or she wouldn't do it.

I'm assuming that some thought and planning goes into designing the diapers. I guess the cover in this set didn't require as much design as the inside, and she has made quite a few diapers.

Oh, ok. I wonder why she didn't do as many covers... doesn't she have someone else make the covers?

I thought so. Maybe she's hoping people will use reservations for covers and not diapers to save herself work? Does that make any sense?

This made me laugh:

Self-gusset in back makes a gentle curve that fits best on babies who are not flat-bottomed.
So does my tiney hiney Nathan have to pass? :LOL

If she had a small wool-in-one cover I'd probably get the wool-in-one and the contour but she only has mediums and I don't buy sizes that are too big for Nathan.. call me snooty! lol

I was thinking that it seems like she's releasing them in "waves," like before, no?

hmm...I see what you mean about them not being on her site. How strange.

I don't know what too do. I always say I'm not real interested in this garden and then when they are all gone I want it so bad. Will that happen again this time? Should I bid, should I pass. I'm so confused.

She said in her email that they are going out of town after the auctions close so I think what you see is what you get w/ the kiwi.

What's not on her site?

more upcoming kiwi auctions. She sure made a tiny amount of this one. I love the little doll, though.

Hmmm, ok, I've decided that it's really the diaper and not the cover that I am enamoured of. So, I think I will hold onto my reservation for a cover that really blows me away.

Mama to 13, and 10 and 4.

the dipe is cute, but not so much the cover, and yeah....not many. I'd get a small dipe after the nb period is up; but, h/s couldn't wear the dipe and once h/s grew into the medium cover.

I'm saved then! Its cute.....I kinda feel a bit sad. I'll be allright. I'll pet my strawberry, melon and blue sky easy. *sigh*
