I have done EVERYTHING to get rid of the stink in my diapers... i have tried different detergents.. different washing routines.. i've stripped at EVERY wash.. (talk about NOT economic in AZ) they stink. REALLY stink. i switched to all natural fibers because i read they dont have smell issues... well they still stink. i evern went as far as to try bleaching them.. and they STILL stink. i know i have extremely hard water.. so does this mean there is NO way i'm going to be able to cloth diaper?? i cloth diapered my sons in alaska with no stink issues ever. i'm so frustrated. is there anything else i can do?
Have you tried using calgon water softener powder? It worked for me on my cotton diapers when I lived in a place with water so hard it was rust colored. And could you set up a water softener that goes to your washer?
