A hemp prefold+ 2 hemp inserts+ cover? Would this work?

I just use 2 bamboo nappies and a wool cover. Preference is 2 bamboo squares, folded together. But wool nappy covers instead of PUL make a huge difference.

I looked at wool but I don't think I have the patience for all the care wool requires.

Sounds like it should work. R u trifolding the hemp prefold or wrapping it around baby?
Just asking cuz if you trifold it you might be able to get away just like that with no doublers, depending on how heavy a wetter u have.

Wool is very easy to care for, as you only need to wash it about once every 6 weeks. I find it less labour intensive than washing and drying PUL covers every day. To hand wash all you do is soak the wool in the washing solution, and then gently squeeze it through and rinse, roll it in a towel to remove most of the water, and lay it flat on the boiler to dry. Re-lanilizing is as easy as using a fabric conditioner it you use soluble lanolin,. The only difference is you need to allow it to soak for a while.
