Travel and disposables

Our nearly 7month old is primarily in cloth, and we do elimination communication part of the time as well. We do depend on disposables on longer car rides, and i recently found i can get more sleep if she spends the night in one.

We are going on a two and a half week trip abroad soon, and will be in a hotel without easy washer/drier access. I am considering sticking with disposables for the duration of the trip, of course doing EC whenever possible.

Thoughts? Suggestions for alternatives? Thanks!

No alternatives to suggest. We used primarily cloth at home with DD1. We went away for a week when she was 7mo and used disposables for the whole trip.

gDiaper and Flip disposable inserts can be used with other covers if you want something a little more eco-friendly and breathable. You would still be stuck hand washing your covers, which isn't a huge deal depending on what covers you have. We used gDiapers when traveling with our first daughter. Now with our twins it's disposables for trips - even day trips. Everything in life is a compromise.
