Several comments:

1. I want someone else to try it first
2. I hate applix.
3. I don't like this part of her auction: "When sending payment please included your auction number & address, if you do not I will consider it a gift!"

I've had it on my watch list for a few days, but have the same reservations about it as on the PPs - the "gift" reference, wanting someone else to try it and hating aplix. It's really nice looking though!

very pretty.

Yeah, the gift reference is a little put off-ish- not very professional. I admit sometimes it can be a pain in the butt when you get an envelope with just a money order in it and the return adress doesnt match anything (such as you use dh label and his last name is different) It makes life 100% easier when a customer puts the info with the money order, but stupid to say that if they dont that they wont get their product.

Also the no postal money orders... wonder why.

Because she is located in Canada, and we cannot cash they cannot be cashed in here.

There are typos in the auction LOL
I don't use wool, but the workmanship does look nice. Some of her auction 'rules' are a little different, but she's probably just new at it. Cute cover though! LOL

I love this cover! I do prefer apix becuase if a snap breaks off it's much harder to fix. I didn't think anything bad the "gift" comment. I've bought from her before, she's very light hearted and down to earth.
But about the cover, I totally love it! It's just beautiful.

oooh, that's a really gorgeous cover - guess i'm the oddball here, i'd much rather an aplix or snapping cover. i hardly use the soaker i've got since i'm just not fond of pullons! now, wonder if dh would carp if i spent more money on diaper covers for a baby that REALLY doesn't need 'em lol?

She's copying Fuzbaby a little, no?

Aplix and wool don't mix well for me.

Blech. I did not see the "gift" comment. Yowzers. I do not normally like aplix at all. I just thought it was pretty and it was 5am and I woke up and could not fall back asleep. LOL.

I agree that gift comment is a bit odd BUT when you get a money order and there isn't any info on what its for, well it is a gift. The buyer should include their auction name, address and auction # on a slip of paper so the seller knows what the MO is for *shrugs*

There were other things that caught my eye tho. "Peas Pod" Just sounds weird and yeah I am being picky ;p And the aplix is only sewn down on 2 sides, it really should be sewn on all 4 to make it more stable. Otherwise her sewing looks nearly flawless. Looks to be a very well thought out well designed cover

Looks to have great workmanship, I think with her 'gift' comment she was just trying to be lighthearted. I also dont like the idea of wool and aplix, dont have any covers like this, but the idea doesnt appeal to me. The diapers looks great though. Id try one if it was at a more friendly "try me" price.

I dont like the thought of aplix on wool, but now that I have my lightweight wool cover I think aplix is perfect for lightweight wool because you cant rip aplix through the wool, and you CAN rip the snaps through the wool.

I didnt read what kinda wool it was, just saying

I have bought from mommyhenderson, and she is very friendly.
I like Aplix better than snaps, I know I can replace the velcro, and snaps are a pain to fix.
I am sure that she would still ship if there was no address , it is a pain when there is nothing to match up! (address & auction #) I think that it was just a joke, she is pretty quirky!
I know when it happens to me I just wait to hear from the person.

I really like it, I am looking at the wool set that she has on.

Yes, this line is tres tacky. Also, what's up with not accepting Paypal? I would think that would be easier. I hope someone tries the cover and gives us a review on it.

The other auction is cute too! I like the way her dipes look.
Maybe she only accepts money orders so it's like cash and she doesn't have to claim it on her taxes? That's the only thing I can think of.

If you are Canadian (international), you have to pay to use Paypal. It cost to move your money around.
Like if you want to move it into your bank account, it cost. :
I really don't see the big deal about the Paypal.
She dose not accept green postal money orders because they are for US domestic use only. They cannot be cashed in any other country. The US post office sells pink ones to send internationaly.

I had to come back and add to the whole “gift” thing. This has been bothering me all morning! Like I said before, I wasn’t bothered by that, didn’t even think twice about it, but everyone seemed to have a problem with it. I’m a cultural anthropology student, and this is a cultural difference. I grew up probably 15 minutes from her house, and that is why I didn’t find anything odd about the comment. When I moved to the States, people reacted to me much the same way as most of you are reacting to the “gift” thing. We are two different countries, and we do things differently. And it’s fine that a lot of you felt that way, but we are very friendly people, ok, and where we come from, it’s just a little humorous, so please try to be a little more open minded, as the cover is truly beautiful

For my baby personally, I wouldn't try it, I don't like the cut of it. It's pretty though. Love the colors.

The detailed stitching is pretty and it looks nice.
But it always bugs me when someone will only accept a money order. It's so much easier for me to wait for the auction to end and pay immediatly, then I don't have to run to the store, wait for the seller to get it and then wait to get my stuff. It seems whenever I pay by MO it takes 2-3 weeks to get mystuff instead of a few days with paypal. Yeah I can use bidpay to pay quicker or with a credit card like paypal but then I'm stuck with extra fees no thanks. (and I sell on ebay and get stuck with paypal fees all the time so I'm not saying all fees should only be on the seller)

I think it looks really cute. I love aplix on front closing covers. I even sent two Fuzbombs back for Lori to take off snaps and add aplix. We get a much better fit.

I think her cover is nice, it's obvious she put a lot of work into making it. I am not an aplix fan either, but maybe she is waiting to see if there is a demand for her covers before she buys a snap machine. (BTW, this is speculation, I don't know her.) As far as the gift comment, I imagine she was trying to be funny. Hopefully she doesn't post or lurk here, I think her feelings would be so hurt.

The set is really cute, but I wish that she had went into more detail about the diaper. It says it is five layers, but five layers of what? Flannel? Hemp? Bean dip?

I'm not bothered by the "gift" comment either. I think it shows that she has a sense of humor which I appreciate

that makes sense about the money order only working in Canada. I remember sending money orders to the states and it can take up to a month to cash if the money order is "american funds drawn on a canadian bank" or normal time if it is american funds with american account" It just makes a difference in how the bank does it.

I know it stinks to pay paypal fees, but that is just part of doing biz. I personally find money orders a PITA (since I dont drive) and then *I* have to 35 cents to $1.00 for it... so might as well just raise your prices to accomidate the paypal fee since it is easier and I am paying a fee anyway.

The auction is beautiful professional tags, photography and of course the sewing looks very pretty. Pea in the pod reminds me of the maternity store... and sugarpeas. (thats why it sounds familiar maybe.)
