You know, normally when I post that people are LOL over something, I'm really exaggerating, cause I'm giggling quietly inside to myslef. But this time? Oh yeah, I'm seriously laughing out loud at all you funny people! I can't stop, it's too funny!

The fit is great, the wool is soft, the knitting is perfect and the price is right! The leg holes are generous but that doesn't bother me at all as Eliza wears fitted diapers under it and nothing is escaping!

The animals are a little.... unique, I will admit.

XOXO
I have the same one I think. rainbow, but not bright. I really like it, and you cant beat the price!
I do not like the animals one bit, I think they are horribly ugly, but I do like the stripes I 've seen.
Mine is really soft, and it is a great night time cover!

so am I the only one who thinks she probably has hit up every retirement center in town and has about 200 old ladies knitting for her?

Hand knit soaker like that for $20 has me scratching my head!

Nope your not the only one~That's why I refuse to buy one as cute as some can be (the non-animal ones only IMO)! There have been some threads on this before~They're knitted out of the country in Asia/China or someplace like that

I just don't know what the working conditions are for the people knitting these items yk?

That said I can't justify it & am comfortable supporting the WAHM's knowing that their working conditions are better being home with kiddos and not in a sweat shop like these possibly might be (no offense but just makes me wonder why they sell for so cheap)~

Actually Aherne, I wrote her and asked her about this, she said they are hand knit "by her sisters overseas" She told someone else she is paying them well over the average daily wage in (I believe) China. I'm not quite sure how she is able to do custom orders with shipping from China and have a turnaround of 20-25 days.

Shipping actually isnt THAT expensive for something that weighs such a small amount, I just shipped something Australia and it made it there in 4 days! So the questions to me isnt how she gets them here so fast, but how is she making a profit on these? I think I am just gonna trust her on this one, as I really enjoy her soakers!
