Mine doesn't like cloth, he thinks it's too much trouble (even with me doing all the washing )
He knows I hate disposables so everyonce in a while he'll use cloth.
He used to change almost as many diapers as I did, but when I switched to cloth at 5 mons., he hardly changes them anymore.
Just wondering if your men change diapers and do they have a problem with cloth?

He doesn't.. he didn't diaper when we did disposables either! He's very supportive of cloth though.

Yep, he changes them . He does fine as long as I keep the AIO's and pockets seperate from the fitteds in our cart. He sometimes gets confused about what needs a cover and what doesn't.

He walks to the dress picks up a diaper and cover and hands them to me. He never changes her diapers. I am hoping with the Very baby AIO's he can do those. I will not pick on him too much he is 6'5" and a very big guy so those snaps just make him nuts. Oh, and he doesn't even like to do disposable either. But he is supportive of my hobby/habit.

Mine does changes. He has no probs with cloth. His big motivation is the cost savings. He likes/liked the simplicity of pockets/aio's.

If I LET him change Jonah, he will use a sposie, so that's why I do all the diaper changes

I voted he uses cloth, although technically he doesn't use anything yet since she's not born.

DH doesn't want sposies in the house anymore than I do though. He gladly took the samples from childbirth class to his office for people to take. I'm not really worried he'll end up not liking them. This is the man who can't wait to finally try out the ubcpf we have!

I'm a lucky girl.

Dont know what happend -- I voted he uses cloth but it didnt go through and now it says I already voted. Hmmmm

Anyway -- yes he uses cloth. We dont even have sposies in our house. He is actually *almost* more into cloth than me. Not the actual diapers and the hyena stuff and the obsessive buying and hanging out here or anything but he is really into the reasons we use cloth. The health benefits, environment, etc.

DH uses all cloth. When DD was younger he would always grab a disposable when he changed her, and I figured out that it was because he was scared of all my diapers. So I bought him his own stash of front aplix, all one piece AIOs (like Very Baby and Honeyboys), and now he uses those exclusively. He calls them "dada diapers".

Jimmy uses cloth! He usually either asks me what to put him in and I describe to him or he grabs his Bumkins! He gets my Navy Blue SP's Fleece Cover mixed up with my Periwinkle Wool Cover, blech, how could you do that????

My hubby will change her if there are either fitteds or AIO's. If there are only pf's clean he will try and then call me to help (ie change while he watches and tries to learn).

Once I told him about the toxic shock chemicals in sposies' he will never put a sposie on her.

He loves our cloth, and I ordered him some applix fleece AIO's from BB so he will have plenty of dipes on hand that he can easily use.

My DH doesn't like changing the girls at all- disposable or cloth. But if he is going to do it he prefers cloth. The only reason for his apprehension is as he says "I don't have those parts, I don't know if I'm hurting them" It isn't diaper changing, it is wiping. It makes him nervous. I've shown him, and he does help- but he is apprehesive about it for sure.

He has put cloth on the whole 6 times he has changed DS in 9 months. Not that I'm complaining. I usually get the dipaer changed before DH has time to realize one needs to be changed. The six time he has changed 2 were in the hospital when the nurses made him and then freaked out we put DS in cloth. The other 4 were when I was not home and DS pooped.

When we switched, we had about 2 doz pinnable poo-pockets, so Tom would even use pins when it came time to change our daughter. Now that my stash has expanded, he only uses kissaluvs or some other fitted (all snaps, I don't keep aplix in the house except for some AIO's we have for daycare - no day care until school starts though.)

Dh is totally on the cloth train and uses whatever he grabs. He's partial to wool for covers tho. He is good w/ a snappi, generally snaps fitteds correctly and will occasionally grab for an aio.

He does diaper laundry too. (he's the sahp, in case you're wondering why he's so involved )

I dyed some of my plain hemp diapers w/ their soakers to help him coordinate them out of the laundry.

My DH stills grumbles after almost 2 years but he always changes dipes when home. He grabs pocket dipes first but if none are avaliable he takes what he can get.

Lately my DH has been doing more diaper changes than I have. :LOL He fully supports our use of cloth. Sometimes he'd wish I wouldn't have such a vast variety because he gets a little bit confused but he "usually" figures it out without too many problems. He's happiest with AIOs... though he has been getting into using the wool soakers lately... As long as I keep everything well organized that he know what stuff is, and what needs what... he's happy.

Can't refill a wipes container with solution to save his life though. Even with a full jug up on the shelf next to his head.

It's so hard to see what's right in front of you...

Dh gladly uses cloth. He has his favs like front or side aplix. He doesn't like snaps at all, but will use them. I should have listened to him when we had our first he wanted to do cloth then. Wow, theres one for the record book huh.

We just switched to cloth last month and dh used to do about half of the diaper changes. Now he does none, lol. I knew that was going to be the case when I switched though. He won't even change a diaper if she's peed in it. I left her with him one night and told him she's in cloth, and when he changes her, if the diaper has just been peed in put it in the wet bag, if it's poopy (which I was sure it wouldn't be, since she'd already made her poop quota for the day) that he should just put it in the bucket in the bathroom and I would deal with it when I got home...unless of course he felt like trying a toilet dunk, lol.

When I got home she was in bed in a disposable and the POOPY diaper was in the wet bag ! Just tossed in, making a mess. Men!
