I have been loving my prefolds lately, especially snappied and coverless around the house, but I cannot get the legs snug! It seems no matter what I do I have leg flare. It doesn't matter too much at this point because dd is 13 months and not having blowouts anymore but I'd like to get practiced up before I have a newborn to diaper. I just can't imagine MY prefolds holding in anything!!
Any tips for me? Do I have to use pins for a snug fit?

Search for that thread about the jellyroll fold. It is really easy: Essentially you just fold down a length in the back to make it the rise you want then roll in the sides until they meet, pull up between legs, and wing out as much as necessary. The trimmest, tightest, purtiest fold you ever saw .

You definitely don't need to use pins to get tight legs! I do because when I want Nathan to go coverless the snappi'd prefold gets all loose and funky! But if you've never had a problem with that then just do the above fold and it should be great!

If you need a pinning version of the above fold let me know.

Jenn -
I'd love to see some directions with pins. They scare me!! I have a feeling I'll be practicing on a doll because there is no way dd will lay still enough for me to practice on her!

I third the sidewall/jellyroll fold! It really does eliminate leg flare. I use pins when I can, but it works fine with a snappi, too.
