Weigh in here. I'm taking a brk from hemp until I can figure out how to make it not STINK! So, in the meantime, I need dipes. Any suggestions? Does anyone make organic velour/sherpa? ideas anyone? faves? raves? rants?

i have one ecobaby sherpa absorbitall. i think it's a really great dipe for fit and function. (all of their stuff is organic cotton.)

organic fireflies are superb, too, but smooth side out....and i love my organic cotton tootsweets (which i think are the softest of any diaper ever...)but they're closed!

now see, I've never counted my OC firefly as my most absorbant. Maybe I'm expecting too much?

Mind if I hijack this thread to ask who makes the SOFTEST organic cotton diaper?

After that I'd like to know who makes the LEAST EXPENSIVE organic cotton diaper.

(Organic cotton is my particular obsession.)

-Alice, SAHM to dd (2001) and ds (2004) each of whom was a homebirth.jpg, who each self-weaned at 4.5 years bfolderchild.gif, who both fambedsingle2.gif'd, who were bothcd.gif, and both: novaxnocirc.gif.   Also, gd.gif, and goorganic.jpg!

My absorbital is still very soft, even when some of my others are losing a bit of their buttery element. Its a fine day diaper but not overnight weight. My ecobaby 1size are not quite as soft and are still a bit bulky on my 3.5mo (and he's full on in mediums), but they make fine coverless kind of diapers and I think they are workhorse types (which adds to their economical aspect). I also have a small under-the-nile (velcro, cross-over tab) that is a pretty thick and absorbing diaper. Don't know about prices. (these were all things I bought pre-baby and pre-big MDC influence and I'm happy enough with them, but they aren't my favorites)

I do think my ff night is absorbant, but by that I mean it keeps absorbing all night. Sometimes C's diaper is wet from front to back...and its all in there.

From WAHM I tend to seek out hemp more than oc.

I've heard cloth softies are uberpettable. Not sure if she's technically open right now. I'm a little confused on that one....maybe someone can clear that up.

I'm going to order a couple from www.Tykiesdiapers.com tomorrow, and I would love to catch Mudpie babies open, but from there I don't know who else I'm going to try.

What I'd really like is a list of all the WAHM sites that sell organic cotton diapers. Then I'd like to try one of each and decide which I like the best.

I just got some Sunflower Derriere organic. One fitted and one AIO. I love the material that lines the aio...so soft. I think it's fleece.
They're beautiful and she made them and shipped them so quick!
