it makes me crazy!! I cannot have a diaper on Stinker and no cover so I prefer if the embroidery were on an AIO. I would not buy an embroidered diaper again, did once and no likey. This was a major embroidery, not that cute outline stuff that I like.

Tiny details, like decorative topstitching around the edges?

More noticable, like a ladybug flying across the front?

Major embroidery, like a 3"x3" flower?

If the fitted is hand dyed, embroidery does not matter much to me . I'd love something (be it an embroidery or a tag :LOL ) on the front of side-snapping fitteds though (if the outer is not a print).

ETA: color actually matter much more to me . I'd rather it's hand dyed with no embroidery than plain with some embroidery.

Oh yeah! Anything, really - from decorative stitching to tiny little designs to huge honking embroidery - anything at all. I was so sad when I had to give my embroidered Doodlebottoms (sheepy love and Anne Geddes butterfly) to a friend b/c they didn't fit Ian any longer.

Mmmm...embroidery...

Decorative topstitching around the edges is nice, but other than that I would not want embroidery on a fitted. Now, AIOs are a different story!

-Alice, SAHM to dd (2001) and ds (2004) each of whom was a homebirth.jpg, who each self-weaned at 4.5 years bfolderchild.gif, who both fambedsingle2.gif'd, who were bothcd.gif, and both: novaxnocirc.gif.   Also, gd.gif, and goorganic.jpg!

No NO no, I don't sew or dye or do anything cool like that! It's a WAHM fitted, a tester. I don't even have it in my grubby paws yet, it's on it's way to me next week.

Embroidery on an AIO or cover would be nice, too. The reason we love some embroidery on a fitted is that my baby is coverless 95% of the time during summer months :LOL

Don't you think it will go remarkably well with this stuff? :LOL No secret, but it'll be fun to see how many seconds it takes you to figure it out... :LOL

The reason I like it on fitteds is because I adore my squishy OV fitteds and like to admire them and pet them.... Oh, crap, am I the only one??? : :

No, but it does seem to snap really far back to the sides like a side snapping elbee, doesn't it? No, it's a Peenut Fluff fitted.

We do also, but dh, bless him, he gets soooo confused if a fitted is too ornate. He assumes it must be an aio, which around the house isn't bad, but if we go out..... He's actually the one who "broke" me of the habit of buying really pretty fitteds. Now all our fitteds are just natural or the outers are dyed. He even picked which fitted we'd use for our stash. I certainly still like to look at the gorgeous work on fitteds and pf's though!

I love embroidery on fitteds! Any type really as long as it's celtic/faeries/dragons, or GNOMES!!
I have a Tykie AIO that I got from another mama here with an embroidered dragon on the bum. It's beautiful but the stitching seems to wick through some moisture from inside the dipe... Does this happen to anyone else?
Hand dyed makes me

My DH used to be like that :LOL so I packed away most of our AIOs and use just fitteds and wool, now he just assumes that everything is a fitted and even put wool over a windpro AIO one time :LOL

Me, too! (um, except the gnomes.....geek!!! :LOL ) I'll show you my celtic-embroidered diapers on the way if you show me my son's new samurai pants/hakuma pants w/matching cool belt outfit that you are no doubt busily trying to complete.....

I'm totally kidding, I'm in no rush at all, just teasing you!

And I hear you on just going for fitteds and wool to keep things simple.... BUT I just love sending DS off for a few hours with the grandparents with a bunch of VK true AIOs to use, because I wanna keep it simple for my dear, sweet MIL.

He's a good man. He always goes over purchases w/me. If I sell something, it is usually b/c *he* didn't care for it. He takes it too far sometimes, though...like he wanted me to try to sell two fitteds b/c they were too purple and pink for his taste. I ended up keeping them, but I did list them, just to humor him.

So, what was that set you just linked? It is gorgeous!!!!

Oh yeah! I keep waiting for something from there to be both in stock and in Zach's size.

Back to dh-you just don't know...we've literally had arguements over snap this soaker into that diaper and lay this on that one but not this one and then it still needs a cover and bahh ahhh ahh ack! We finally settled on ff's b/c it is all intact. No more fights!
