My DH said that baby's wool cover was itching HIM last night in bed. I thought it was an extra soft one too. Now I'm rethinking my wool love.

I have sensitive skin and all wool fabrics make me itch. Hand-knit wool doesn't make me itch, though, particularly if it's lanolized, organic, undyed merino.

It’s funny how people have different reactions to wool. What feels soft to one person is itchy to another. I read somewhere that people with warmer skin tend to be more sensitive to wool.

Not all wools are the same, if you are not ready to give it up just yet I would encourage you (and your DH) to try different types of wool and see if you can find one that works for both of you.
