I don't know how to ask this but I have some one size hemp diapers that are getting holes in them. I have 12 of them and only use them naps and night--so 4 a day....so I don't feel they are over-used. I take good care of them--drying on medium not high no bleach or anything that would have damaged them. I have only had them for about a year--I was hoping they would take us through to potty training. Was that a false hope and is what I am experiencing to be expected?

I'm not a good one to answer I don't think.

ALL my hemp has holes - some of it is only 8 months old. BUT, it was in a daily-washing routine for a long time.

ALL my knit outers are GONE. Not just holes or wear, but literally GONE.

I won't ever buy all hemp again

IME yes hemp gets pinholes in it but not all at the same rate - I have 5 dipes all alike - only one is starting to get holes and the other 4 are not!

If you are cheap creep like me, you mend the holes since they are tiny and rarely affect performance if you catch them in the early stages

Yeah I would expect that. Hemp gets holey pretty quick. I stick to as much cotton as possible to avoid that. Hemp is fabulous for heavy wetters but doesn't last that long.

Thats odd, because I find my hemp doesnt get holes at all, but my OC does. I think it also has alot to do with water and wash routine.

What kind of hemp is it? Jersey will wear holes as it is rather thin. I use hemp stretch knit terry (loop side out on the outer to increase longevity, unless the customer requests smooth side out) and none of my all-hemp diapers have holes, on the inner (smooth side out) or the outer. And my doublers out of hemp fleece, French terry, and stretch knit terry don't have holes, some of them are on baby #2. It seems everyone has a different experience.
