If you haven't heard, WAHMChicks has a whole section of auctions to raise money for the people affected by Hurricane Katrina. Auctions Listed Here Sounds like WAHMs and mamas are going to be listing things all this next week and beyond.

What do YOU hope people list?

Since I get to answer my own question, I'd love to see the following:
* OV wipes. Mmm, gotta get me some of them!!! Bonus if they're hand dyed. ( X 2). OOOH! TWO SETS UP RIGHT NOW!
* Essential Oils - Maybe Lavender, Tea Tree Oil, Peppermint, Eucalyptus for wipe solution, diaper laundry and fall/winter baths.
* OV Snappi friendly PF. THERE'S ONE THERE NOW!
* Gender Neutral hand made (not needed to be by a WAHM even) newborn baby outfit. Maybe a baby bag outfit out of hand dyed hemp or just soft cotton. Or a shirt and coveralls all in soft material.
* Home made craft items - soaps, candles, waldorf inspired dolls
* Basket of sweets and/or Coffee-- good chocolate and whatever else. Mmm, maybe some Finnish Chocolate!!!
* Head band like this http://quidnunc.org/headband.html I have been asking for one of these in swaps for a long time. I'd LOVE to see one up for auction. I think it would be great!

Soooooo... what do YOU hope people list?

i'm shopping for felted mocs too!!!

i'm also shopping for a pretty little wetbag that i can grab when we're only going to be out for an hr or 2. something that holds 1 diaper and 1 or 2 wipes, but looks pretty. maybe something like a clutch handbag w/a wrist strap? i haven't though that much about it, but i've been hoping to stumbe across something. i'm picky about my diaper bags though. i want them to be pretty/stylish (read: not cutesie).

Custom slots from diaper-making and soaker-making mamas. The bidding would likely go very high, and you don't have to take the time to make items first and then list them. Slots could be listed immediately (the need is immediate), and the items could be made later.

-Alice, SAHM to dd (2001) and ds (2004) each of whom was a homebirth.jpg, who each self-weaned at 4.5 years bfolderchild.gif, who both fambedsingle2.gif'd, who were bothcd.gif, and both: novaxnocirc.gif.   Also, gd.gif, and goorganic.jpg!

I will be keeping an eye out for some PUL AIO's, PUL embroidered AIO's, or some cute WIO's that are either embroidered, appliqued, or needle felted.

Well, would you guys buy non-wahm oils and salves/balms? Even if the oils were in only like 1. oz or 1/2 oz amber glass bottles?

Yeah, I don't think anyone should be afraid to post something that they make or craft. Sometimes taking the time to get inspired or use your personal time away from kids is such a good gift to give. Besides, it's a one of kind!

I have a used naturekins set on there, but mmmmm, naturekins straight from Barbara is the BEST!

I'll list a couple more wool balls (one in a WAHM set), but I'm low on my favorite wool for fruit/veggies. So, I can't help you out on that one. I know there are a lot of crafter mamas out there. I hope they make something to list! That would be fun!

BTW, your dozen custom PFs ROCK!!!!
