My 29 month old son is still wearing diapers (we've not started toilet training) and due to ongoing issues and treatment of constipation, we've been developing some major stains on our Bummi diaper covers. Cold water soaks haven't been sufficient to get these stains out before they come permanent. Now all our diaper liners are browned, stained and just plain gross looking. Just wondering if there was any trick I could do to clean these liners up? Thanks.

Have you tried sunning out the stains? Hang them outside or even in a sunny window.

Another vote for sunning them! The sun's taken old stains out for me, and spaghetti sauce stains out as well!

Sun, sun, sun! It is tempting sometimes to add just a teeny tiny bit of bleach, but don't do it, lol. The sun has gotten out some stains that I thought were ours to keep forever!

I had some gently used dipes that I purchased off Ebay that were fairly stained, and I don't know how long they were there. I squirted some lemon juice on the stains and laid them in the sun after washing them, and it made a HUGE difference. So another vote here for sunning.

Sunning does work wonders. For your diaper liners, what are they made of? Many liners, inserts, and doublers do well with oxy clean and dreft stain remover too
