I love fuzzibunz for nighttime. If you need more stuffing, just stuff more inside Since it's night time, no worries about a huge diaper and crawling/walking. We use two infant prefolds and it holds all night, and his skin stays dry. I don't recommend them if your babe poops at night, though. They are not so good for poop (IME)

I use to use Fuzzi Bunz with two inserts and they usually held up okay but sometimes she would be wet in the a.m. Also, they made her very hot and she was often red in the a.m. Now, I use very baby simply nights fitted (I have one hemp one and another one that is sherpa) with a doubler and covered with a loveybums interlock wool cover or a pair of longies. I resisted the wool for about a year but am now very glad we made the switch. She isn't red at all in the a.m. and there are no leaks.

The only thing that works for us is a bumGenius! pocket stuffed with a Cotton Babies MF insert and a Joey Bunz Hemp insert. Anything else we tried dd was soaked by midnight.

I've had great luck with a FB double stuffed (one hemp and one cotton CPF)

Or a WindPro cover with a fitted dipe double stuffed the same way.

I've found that microfiber is way more absorbant that hemp. My hemp insert seem to fill up pretty quickly.

I've also done a microfiber insert with a CPF over the top inside my FB or windpro cover.

FB just didn't work for us at night, even with 2 inserts. My fav's are either a Sugar Plum Baby or Firefly nighttime dipe with an Aristocrat cover. They're all quite expensive, but we have never had one single leak with that combo.

I'm still working on the solution to this problem. DD poos in the morning, and I hate most AIO's, so I am making liners from recycled items for her prefolds. I think my fave so far is a piece of old towel sewn between a layer of flannel (from a stained recieving blanket) and a layer of micro fleece. The messies come off the fleece pretty easily.

Just your typical non-theistic, liberal, blended family.

Thank you, Mothering, for the past twelve years of support and community. I look forward to many more.

Under the nile fitted (its very very thick) and a tiny birds organics treslike merino soaker. I love this combo since its breathable and super absorbant!

Snappi'd premium prefold with an infant prefold trifolded inside it (and sometimes an extra doubler if he's had a lot to drink before bed) all covered with an Aristocrats (he's only 28 lb but we already sized up to XL and it fits very well!)

:

Except I use Little Beetles at night, and they're a bit cheaper. They've worked very well for us with two doublers in them.

A double-stuffed FB will only hold DS for about 4 hours or so.

I had success with Lil Beetles Hemp diapers, but after DD quickly outgrew them I went with what I had on hand and it has never failed.

Snappie'd toddler prefold with a trifold infant pf, fleece topped doubler with a wool cover (custom from Pin Stripesand Polka Dots).

Easy and cheap.

ETA: this is for a super soaker!

Wonderoos or FB or HH stuffed with the wonderfulls microfiber insert. Adds up to 5 or 6 layers of microfiber. They work great on DD so far. She is 6 1/2 months old now. What age do they usually start needing more at night???

2 prefolds and a BSWW or MEAF. What I do is I pin or Snappi one prefold on her, then fold the other one into the cover. It's very easy and it works better than anything else I've tried, including pockets.

Mommy to eyesroll.gif (age 7) and mischievous.gif (age 3)
