Would this be good for CD and regular clothes? Are there any positives/negatives?

Thanks.

From what I've heard, it's really bad to use plain soap on your diapers. It builds up horribly. Use a detergent, instead...Check out the handy detergent list here.

Thanks, I definitely won't use it on my CD.

Any idea how it is on regular clothes?

I think it would probably do fine on other clothes. It might leave buildup in your machine, though.

I used Dr. B's on my oldest DS's diapers (I didn't know any better). They got to the point the bulid up was so bad, they were always stinky, he was rashy and they stopped absorbing. So I would say not to use it.
