Or do I just wash it once and then it is ready to go?

Wow, sorry Neptune! Don't know how I missed this!:

Jangos need no prewashing except if you are doing so to make them more sterile for first use, particularly for newborns (since we've handled them during our cutting, sewing, snapping, inspecting and packing stages). They won't shrink and are totally colourfast.

The inserts have already been prewashed by us, on hot, three times, and dried on hot each time. We do this to remove the moisture-resisting hemp oils and excess lint, and to fluff up and tighten the fibers for maximum absorbency on first use. Oh, and the coloured inserts are completely colourfast.

You can both wash and dry Jangos on hot (or of course you can hang them to dry). The only thing you shouldn't do, like the care label says, is use bleach or fabric softener with them, or allow detergent residue to build up from lack of thorough rinsing. (The latter can attract odour---see the articles at DiaperPin.com or the many threads in the Diapering Forum on how to "strip" your diapers if this happens.) It also helps to prevent odour if you remove soiled inserts when you change baby---i.e., before you throw the dipes in the dirty-dipes pail.

Inserts and dipes can be washed together. If you wash the dipes with anything that produces a lot of lint, however, the fleece will come out "peppered" with lint. To make them look new again, just wash and dry them next time without the linty stuff.
