DS1 is PT'ed during the day but wears a dipe for naptime and overnight. Back when he was in diapers full-time, he wore a VB Simply Nights overnight with no problems. But that won't cut it anymore.

He is actually in THREE Pull-ups, one on top of another, and still has leaks sometimes. He pees several times before bed, we limit his water at night. I don't know what else to do.

I'm tired of spending so much on Pull-ups and since we have to rip the front of the bottom two open so the wetness can wick through to the next, he wakes up with those awful little beads all over his gential area.

Is there a CD nighttime solution for the super soaking toddler? TIA!

I can tell you what worked for my super soaker. I used 2 Babykicks Hemparoo Fleece prefolds inside 1 Fuzzi Bunz. It isn't a trim option, but it worked for us. Our backup was a good quality fitted diaper with 1-2 doublers and an Aristocrats wool soaker.

Hope that helps

I used fuzzi bunz with I believe 2 joey bunz and a wool cover.
I had one from angelwraps.com and an aristocrat. Both worked great!!

I was also going to recommend a super-stuffed pocket with a wool cover over it. Also, have you tried waking him up and taking him to the potty before you go to bed? That worked for us for a while.

We used to stuff our Fuzzi Bunz with a premium prefold folded in 4, shortways, plus a doubler like JoeyBunz. With a wool cover over that.

If the VB is loose enough on the loosest setting, fold a prefold inside of it. That's what I do with my almost 3 year old. Top with knitted wool and hope for the best...

me knit.gif, he bikenew.gif, my three reading.gif, sleepytime.gif, and fairy.gif-- and the one we lost angel2.gif

I say a hemp pocket fitted, superstuffed with a microfiber on top and 2 joey bunz, that way the whole diaper is super absorbent. With whatever cover you like best.
