Do any of you buy buy buy when you are upset with your sweet-darling-who-better be-nice-when-he-gets-home-or-else? I'm not the hyena type and have already bought three new diapers . . . maybe it is because I'm out of chocolate?

I've never really been much of a spender, I've always been very frugal...until i started cd'ing a girl: The only thing i buy when i'm upset with dh is sexy clothes then i play keep away. A couple of yrs ago, i found porn on our computer and went out and spent $250 on one outfit it was like therapy

The way I look at it is this.

My dh smokes (garage or outside only, never in the house ) and he drinks beer, almost every weekend.

I don't smoke, and I don't drink. I buy diapers

Oh I use this reasoning too! Dh smokes and keeps saying he is quitting. I don't smoke so I figure that's what? $4 a day I can put towards my addiction so were even

My dh doesn't care if I buy dipes because he has no idea what's in my paypal acct. HE wants really stupid, expensive toys, like remote control helicopters, that our kite-eating trees would gobble right up. They cost way more than the occasional binge I indulge in. He knows that at least I can sell the dipes when we're done...broken helicopters don't command the same return on investment.

But yes, I am a boredom/depression shopper, and it happens in binges. Now i really want the nb fuz set, for a baby who won't be here till march.. I guess i can wait a bit for that one, but maybe I'll get my name on the Elbee list.

I have done that before, but then I'd feel really guilty about it afterwards since we usually talk it out when we're done being mad. Then days later "Another diaper hun?" Whoops. Had to stop that :LOL

So there are more like me out there....I buy when I am happy,
sad & in between, but when I am mad at DH, all hell breaks loose!
I wish it were just diapers...my 3 babes look like they are off to church every day of the week!!
This past week, I bought four pairs of Aster shoes for my DS who can't even walk! WOW - talk about an illness......

Me? Buy diapers to get back at dh?

Really, I have been known to do that in the past. But mostly I go get a coffee and peruse the quilting store...much more dangerous!

most of my married life but of late I have spent tons of money on anything really. Clothing, diapers, fabric, and the list grows. I am out of control and must curtail these activities or end up in the slammer because I cannot pay off my debts.
