How do I stop this? With all the reviews I read, noone ever mentioned this. It's chaffing right in the middle of her side where the edge of the plastic cover hits her.

Same thing happens to my boys when they wear bumkins. It's one of the reasons why I don't like bumkins much. They're just a little too plastic, IMO. I don't understand the argument that the bit of mesh at the back means that the cover is breathable. Plus, after a couple of messy poops-out-the-mesh, I began to wonder why anyone would ever have any part of a diaper cover be mesh.

That said, I still do use them occassionally. Like, in dire emergencies, a.k.a. when all other covers are in the wash.

Sorry, no help to you!

Lex

Is it from the tab. The loopback part is what I'm talking about. Could that be it?

I cut those laundry tabs off mine, they are a completely stupid design. They irritated Eliza as well.

It is like they did not consider those pointy edges . . . the AIOs are like that too.

Well, I felt it and it is pointy, but I don't remember it doing that the first time I had it on her. I didn't have it on her but for 1 diaper last time though, and this time it was for about 5. Not sure it's it's the duration, or if it's the tag, or if it's b/c I put a fitted in it (just testing things) and it pulled in so tight on the sides that it hurt her. I don't think it's the loopback things b/c I THINK they are behind the plastic, could be wrong though.

I might try again when I get my thinner stuff. Thanks for the help ladies.
