I am thinking of taking the plunge into the diaper garden I use mostly prefolds and I am wondering which cover fits better of prefolds? Is there a difference between the 2? I remember reading that there was..

I am not sure but to me they look exactly the same, but one has snaps in the rear for a snap in diaper.

I would definately get the Fuzbomb. It has a back gusset that works much better over diapers, imo. I have some pics of the difference between the gussets. LMK if you want to see them.

HTH~

I have both and find that the bombs fit better over my fitteds and prefolds. The wio is a tiny bit more narrow through the crotch area. I know some mamas find the wio to be roomier but I honestly don't see it. With the wio I have to tuck and pull to get the diaper inside on the front. That said, I got a may diaper garden wio cover from the tp and it has 2 extra snap settings on it and I get such a great fit w/that one. At this point every fuz cover I order is going to have the extra 2 settings. hth

Meghan~ The back gusset of the AIO cover is made of the same wool as the rest of the cover. The Fuzbomb back gusset is made of the same wool as the leg gussets (jersey).

Here's the link

The first pic is a close up of the gussets...AIO on top, bomb on bottom. The second pic is of the backs.

HTH~

Julie, SUPER! thanks. That was exactly what I needed to see. Second question..any reason that you have aplix? Do they give a better fit? I like both snaps and aplix but hadnt thought about it.

Yes, I think the Aplix gives a better fit. I have had Fuzbaby items w/ snaps and I can never get them to fit right, so now I get everything w/ Aplix.

I requested extra snaps on my most recent diaper garden. Wait, not the most recent, on the leaves. Anyway, it gives a much better fit.

Here's a photo of how it looks:

And here's the back, jus for fun.

It's a Fuzbomb, but his shirt is covering the gusset.

Yup, the Fuzbomb fits great over prefolds- that's how I used them until we outgrew them. I had a WIO briefly- it was really big and the Fuzbomb in the same size (L) fits much better. The aplix gives a much better fit than snaps. I like snaps better for staying on the child, though- so I guess it's a toss-up.

I'm still waiting to hear the verdict on my strawberry I sent back-- I am currently without any large fuzbombs and have sold all the mediums.

Being right is not always fair, but being fair is always right

I've had both and always found the WIO cover to fit better over my fitteds.

Cheers, Carolyn
