The only thing I'd really worry about is that it doesn't have a spin cycle. I think it would take forever to dry diapers.

I saw that...I was just wondering, as a friend of mine lives in an apt. and has to use the pay machines.

here is gives more detail and costs 300$ http://www.absak.com/catalog/product...roducts_id/356

I'd personally go for something more like this (even though it costs a lot more http://www.absak.com/catalog/product...roducts_id/338 or http://www.thorappliances.com/ if space is an issue. I've not heard a lot about these, but they've been on the market for a long time (at least 7 years that I can remember). They've come down in price, if memory serves (and that's a horrible joke) they were WELL over 1000$ like a major luxuray machine. You can always call around locally and see if anyone has one instock and on display to look at and talk about. Personally the other one (the little box one) doesn't seem like it'd get the laundry clean enough for me.

Ahhh tea the essence of life.

Looks nice, but my friend is poorer than poor. I don't think she'll be spending that much anytime soon. I just saw that one on ebay and it was cheap. Guess she'll just have to use the apt's community washer and dryer.

Thanks for the info Reese!
