OK I have 2 wool covers on the way. So what's the difference between lanolin and euclain? Are they the same? How often and how do you wash your wool and how often do you lanolize?

I dont have too much experience with wool--1 soaker washed once. But the diapering resource page at the top has lots of great information

You can also find lanolin in big jars at the health food store or drug store and use that instead of Lansinoh. It's a lot cheaper and suitable for this purpose, but not for your nipples.
When I heat lanolin, I put the small dab in the bottom of a shot glass and just cover it with a little water and nuke if for just a few seconds, swirl it around, add a drop of liquid soap to help imulsify it, and then pour that into the water that the soaker is sitting in in my sink (I wash the soaker with a little Eucalan first and don't rinse, then add the melted lanolin mixture).
