With infant sized CPFs, is it better to get 4x6x4s or 4x8x4s to use on a newborn? I'm trying to get ready for the arrival of my first baby!

I used the 4x6x4 with Ethan. You have to change newborns so much anyway because of the poop that I just couldn't justify the added bulk it would have added to get the added absorbancy of 4x8x4.

Btw, I found the 4x6x4 to be aborbant enough anyway.

HTH!

Yep, 6 ply are great b/c they aren't too bulky for tri-folding into wraps, can be secured with snappi or pins for an even trimmer fit, can be used as diaper doublers for when you move up to Regulars. As was mentioned before, nearly every time newborns pee, they squirt a bit of poop too - so you have to change them any way! :LOL
