We have a top loader now, and i read somewhere not to use dawn in these, so what is the best way to strip diapers in them? All ds's synthetic diapers/covers are starting to smell really bad...

The only concern I've heard about using Dawn in a top loader is suds-overflow (their lids don't contain things to the same degree as with a front loader): you have to keep in mind that Dawn is super-concentrated, and so just a little makes a whole lot of suds.

I usually squirt in some, let it whip up some suds and check, and squirt in more if I feel the first squirt wasn't enough.
