I don't have tons of money so right now I am stuffing my large fuzzi bunz with infant prefolds for my 9.5 month old. Sometimes I add a cheap economy liner I have. Will I need to buy larger prefolds when she gets a bit bigger or can I just use the infant one? Would it be better to just get an insert made specifically for pocket diapers? Thanks!

My toddler is in size Medium HHs, and is a super-heavy wetter.
I stuff her pocket dipes with an infant or premie prefold *and* a hemp doubler.

I think those should work for awhile but you could also go up to Walmart and buy some microfiber towels to use along with the cpf for more absorbancy. They work like a dream and are very inexpensive! They're found in the auto care section. They come 5 to a pack for about $5! Can't beat that, huh? They normally have a couple white towels and a few colored towels. If you feel comfortable doing what I did..exchange the packs (I call it a little switcheroo!) and make your pack of 5 all white. The color ones tend to bleed even after a long vinegar soak. I've been known to use two of them in a pocket diaper w/out any other type of insert!

HTH!

I stuff all my pocket dipes with a large hemparoo. I am way to cheep to buy small, medium and large hemparoos, so all I have are larges. I used them in my small dipes with no probem, just folded it a bit, they fit great in the mediums, and I assume they will fit in the larges just fine to when she grows into them.

I found prefolds to be too bulky, so if you are having that same problem, you may try the hemparros, but just buy the one size!!!
