I'm just curious if there's any connection. I lined dryed all summer long - no stinky dipes and now I'm heavily relying on my dryer and I'm getting some funky dipes (even w/stripping).
I lined dried all summer and now my diapers STINK when they dry outside. All my clothes stink like mildew
We dont have a dryer and dh says it smells like "diapers"
It is mildew and there is a HUGE difference. (duh! everything is taking 24 hours or more to dry)
Okay, I stole your vent. Are your diapers always stinking or just when they are still fresh and warm? Dried diapers always seem to have that hot pee scent for a little bit while still warm.
Sometimes I think diapers dryed all the way in the dryer have a slight smell to them.
Actually the other day I had to dry them in the dryer and they were still hot when I picked them out they did have a bit of a smell to them and I put them out on the line for an hour or so and they were ALLLL better then. And they stayed really soft too!
Mine only turn funky when the pee hits! Boiling worked on my hemp prefolds and I hate stripping - checking for suds over and over. Everything is out on the line today - lots of wind and a little sun.
What's that perioxide bleach (H202?) some moms use - and where to get?
I think when I get the slight smell it's hemp though. Not as in bad hemp...but just that hemp has it's own slight smell to it.
