Hi, My DD just turned two. We have been ECing casually since 10 months and then at 18 months I went cold turkey and got rid of our diapers (except at night). I thought for sure she would be almost 100% going on the potty and telling me when she needs to go, but it has been really up and down. She does well at daycare, probably because there are other kids there. At home she is 100% with pooping on the potty and she tells me. But with pee it is so much work just to get her to try to go and it seems like 50% of the time (when we can't get her to try) she tells us "pee" after it has already happened. I am trying to be patient, but I feel frustrated. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting her to the next level?
Sorry, I don't have any actual suggestions but just wanted to let you know that what you're DD is doing sounds pretty normal! I have two friends who are currently going through potty learning with their almost 3 y.o's. (didn't do EC) and both kids did what your DD is doing: good at daycare and not so good at home. The one friend's DS finally got into the groove at home just very recently when he had a bad diaper rash and his mom mentioned that underwear would feel better than the diaper and he decided to wear the undies and "graduated" at home. The other mom is still working with her DD. Sorry, no "tips" just some moral support!
