My 11 mo recently started fighting his diaper changes a lot so we just started leaving his diapers off during the day at home. We're trying to say pssss whenever he pees (he'll say it with us, and definitely notices that he's peeing) and use signs for pooping and we take him to the toilet if we can catch him but usually we can't tell when he's about to go. We still use diapers at night and when we're out. I'm just wondering if anyone had any tips for starting this late and doing it part time. Full-time isn't an option because he pees a ton at night. Thanks!
If you can get him to sit on the potty after naps and in the morning, letting him play in a bowl of water or running some water may get him to go and start the association of going on the potty.
