Just thought I'd share in case anyone is in the same place. We started EC later, when DD was almost 7 months old, and I already had several Fuzzi Bunz pocket diapers. I have wanted to still get some use out of them, since they are pricey, but I don't want the stay dry aspect. Our solution has been to use the unstuffed diaper as a cover over non waterproof cotton trainers or undies. That way the car seat, stroller, etc. stays dry, and DD still gets to wear her beloved Sesame Street underwear (she runs around the house looking for her "Elmos"), the FBs still get some use, and she knows when she's had a miss.

good idea! if are wanting the absorbency of a diaper, you can also stuff the pocket dipe as usual, and just lay a piece of flannel or a cut up t-shirt between baby and the fleece so it feels wet when they pee
