Im looking for where to find the most up to date stats/rate for the US neonatal and maternal mortality ratings also compared to other industrialized nations. I have had these links in the past but want to make sure I am the most up to date. I would like to present this information in a free workshop on informed birth that I am hosting and would like to be able to back it with sites/links that the attendees can check out for themselves if they wish too. I had something like 27th in the world for neonatal and 29th for maternal...thought this would be the place to ask?!! Thanks

I *think* the latest ratings dropped us down to 43rd... I remember reading it. Don't have the link, sorry, but bumping up for you.

I've been looking all over for this myself and so far have not found it.

Right now I'm reading this pamphlet called "care in Normal Birth: a practicle guide" that was printed in '97. The preamble alone has me hopping foot-to-foot.

I found a fabulous report put out in 2006 by the Save The Children organization- it's long- but very much worth reading!

I don't have the exact link but it is on the CDC/NIH website. I think if you google it you can get it. I hope you find it.
