What have you all found out about nursing mothers eating food that contains mercury, such as tuna, salmon, cod, shrimp, etc...? I have seen so many conflicting opinions with what I have researched so far, and as a nursing mama myself that loves seafood, I am so curious about this, especially the question of how much of this food can/should be ingested in a week's period of time.

There's a new study out that counters previous recommendations to limit fish consumption (during pregnancy - I don't think they included nursing moms in the study):
http://www.slate.com/id/2160280/

I have not read the actual study, so I can't comment on it, but just wanted to point it out.
