Monday at my u/s, one of my placentas was diagnosed as stage 3 at 33 weeks... This concern was magnified b/c it appeared that the twin with that placenta also had only half the amount of normal fluid in her sac. I ended up in the hospital for further monitoring and a second u/s. The babies were fine on the monitors and the second u/s showed a normal amount of fluid, so I was released, but now I have to have bpp's twice a week to keep an eye on the situation.

My question is, is there anything I can be doing to help keep this from progressing or is it totally out of my hands??? I totally trust my mw and her back-up ob with this, and don't think they'll push an early delivery or c/s unless it becomes really necessary... but if there's anything I can do to keep it from becoming necessary I want to! I've made it this far with relatively no problems and had started naively thinking that I was in the clear.

***Today I had another bpp and the twin we're watching got all 8 pts in the first few minutes, but her fluid is still measuring really low. (We think the tech at the hospital accidentally measured some of twin b's fluid as twin a's which made it look normal.) I'm seeing my mw this afternoon and I'm sure we'll talk about all of this, but I just wanted to get some other opinions/advice.
