NEW YORK - Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins early Friday, making the singer and husband Marc Anthony the parents of a boy and a girl after one of pop music's most closely watched pregnancies.

"She's thrilled," Lopez's manager, Simon Fields, told The Associated Press. He said the babies were born "just after midnight this morning."

Fields confirmed that the girl arrived first, weighing 5 pounds, 7 ounces. "Her boy is 6 pounds even and arrived about 15 minutes later" at a Long Island hospital, he said. The location was not identified.
I guesss it was maybe the timing that makes me think so? Anyway-- I'm shocked if she did have them vaginally-- it seems that most Hollywood types sign up for c-sections early.

I thought the timing sounded like she had them vaginally. I've first assisted on c-sections with twins and they are out within a minute or two of each other.

I sure hope so, and at a hospital in Long Island, NY no less! Good for her - she must have been assertive, LOL!

Yeah, I would think 15 minutes apart sounds more like vaginal for both babies... or vaginal and then C for the second baby?

Not only that, but the time of day... if it was a planned c-section it would have happened during business hours.

Good for her!

I thought I read she had planned for a C/S weeks ago? Maybe that was to throw us all off the scent

Good for her!

They actually sometimes bring the stars in during off hours to avoid some of the media circus.

Here's to hoping that she had a beautiful vaginal birth and will shout it from the rooftops!

No, she had the babies extracted through her navel to avoid a scar. It's the latest thing!
